Lonely Tears
Lonely Tears
These lonely tears fall from my eyes,
Everyday since you have been gone.
Why oh Why, did you have to die?
It just seems so very wrong.
I know the Lord sent you to me.
You have changed my life for the good.
I just miss you so much you see.
Like you knew I would.
I miss your loving touch,
The talks we had,
I miss your smile and the hugs so much.
I am so very sad.
I imagine the terrible pain you must have had,
The day the truck hit our car.
The accident, it was bad.
It took you away so far.
Our love was strong for each other,
The best relationship that could ever be.
There will never be another,
You were the man for me.
It will be no more,
Just memories in my heart,
It will be no more,
Now that we are apart.
These lonely tears fall from my eyes,
Every day since you have been gone.
Why oh Why, did you have to die?
It just seems so very wrong.
Our daughter suggested I write a Poem on what my husband would say to me.
The answer just came flowing.
(Answer to the above Poem)
Your Lonely Tears
Those lonely tears that have fallen from your eyes,
Every day since I have been gone,
It was my time. I had to die.
It was not wrong.
The Lord sent you to me,
You too have changed my life for the good.
I miss you too you see,
Like you knew I would.
Don't be sad, my darling,
I am not in any pain.
Hold on to your memories darling,
Our love was not in vain.
God has a plan for each of us.
He wants you to know.
God has a plan for each of us.
It was my time to go.
You must go on living
A life like we had,
God is with you too,
We don't want you to be sad.
I will see you in heaven,
When it is time for God to call.
In the meantime, God will lift you up,
When you start to fall.
A Poem Just For You
I miss your smile, love and embrace,
I miss your encouragement with problems I have to face.
You always gave me hope when I thought there was none,
Yes, for me, you and you alone will always be the one.
Our son is graduating from college in May,
He misses you, as you know,
He wished you could be here for that special day.
He doesn't understand why you had to go.
Our daughter's dream was to have her dad be here for the special day,
When you and her walked down the isle on her wedding day.
She misses you so much,
She is so blue.
I know it was your time to go,
The Lord called you to his home.
But it doesn't stop the loneliness I feel inside,
I just wasn't' ready to see you go.
